Do you want to rejuvenate your skin and have fairer skin, without undergoing any painful procedures like IPL or Lasers?
If you answer YES to any of the above questions, it’s time to say goodbye to IPL and other painful skin whitening and rejuvenation treatments.
Say HELLO to Lumitherm SWR.
Lumitherm Skin Whitening & Rejuvenation (SWR)
There are many technologies that can rejuvenate the skin without downtime, for example, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL). IPL brings that sharp unbearable feeling on your skin which feels like a slap. Most people who tried IPL would like to look for less painful alternatives.
That is why The Knightsbridge Clinic introduced the Lumitherm Skin Whitening & Rejuvenation treatment. We believe in technologies that bring the best results with the least amount of discomfort.
“Lumitherm has better results than IPL but with NONE of the pain”
Lumitherm is the newest light-based technology from ALMA Lasers for rejuvenating skin. Lumitherm means “radiance” and “warmth”, which is exactly what patients will enjoy in this treatment.
The Lumitherm treatment utilises Super Skin Rejuvenation (SSR™) technology from ALMA Lasers to:
- Brighten and refresh dull skin
- Lighten superficial pigments (e.g sunspots, freckles)
- Stimulate radiant, whitening effects. It can be performed once every 2 weeks for the best results.
Science of Lumitherm SWR
Lumitherm uses the Advanced Fluorescent Technology (AFT™), which is a breakthrough in skin rejuvenation using light.
In AFT™, useless wavelengths of light are converted to useful energy using special filters. Therefore only low levels of energy are needed to produce the same effects as IPL or Laser skin rejuvenation. Due to the low levels of energy used, there is no pain at all with the Lumitherm treatment, as compared to IPL or Laser skin rejuvenation. It is akin to a warm light-based massage, as described by many who have tried the treatment.
Ultrasound gel is first applied evenly over the face. The Lumitherm SWR light probe is then used to glide over the face back and forth (which is known as the In-Motion Technique). This method is superior to the usual stacked IPL method, which may have parts of the face missed out or have too much overlap of energy (due to the fixed rectangular probe).
Another big plus of Lumitherm is that there is an in-built cooler into the probe, which cools the skin during the procedure itself. Hence, one would only feel a mild warmth during the treatment and might even fall asleep! This might be the only skin rejuvenation treatment in which you may fall asleep halfway through the procedure.
Lumitherm SWR is suitable for pre-events rejuvenation or regular general skin tone lightening and rejuvenation.
